You’ve likely noticed a few changes around the Centrum this spring. And there’s more to come!
Some changes are welcomed.
Our Shoeless Joe’s location was closed for a time for renovations, but they have re-opened under new management, with a fantastic, fresh look. Have you been in yet?
Jack Astor’s underwent some renovations too, and we missed them for the couple of weeks they were closed. But they are back and ready for patio season.
We have a new hot spot opening up in June – Dirty Martini will bring a taste of the nightlife to the Centrum, with their cocktail bar and dinner menu. There is a dress code in effect. We’re not talking black tie, but no sandles or flip flops, tank tops, baseball caps or athletic wear. Dress smart, enjoy the ambiance, and the cocktail culture.
Some people have been asking about the tower construction on site as well. That is an exciting development, with Canada’s third indoor skydiving facility, iFLY Whitby, coming to us later this year. The facility will offer an indoor wind tunnel to mimic the experience of skydivers during free-fall, and will be available for guests aged 4 and up. Stay tuned for more details!
Other changes aren’t so welcome.
Fans of exotic fare and trying something new will have noticed that our Wild Burger location has closed its doors. We are sorry to report that this is a permanent closure, and are sad to see them go. We wish them all the best!
So, there’s some Hellos and some Good-Byes. Have you been to see us lately? We’d love to have you! Come say Hello :)
